I love this video for these reasons: Color timing in post (juxtaposing warm and cool), shallow DOF, “real world” handheld operation, super close abstract shots, enhanced natural lighting, and the use of foreground. All of these tools help me feel the emotional human connection that makes this video a success. I believe someone is pulling focus so the operator can simply focus on composition and movement. The Aputure MC’s and B7c’s would be good lighting tools for a video like this. I did not work on this project, I am simply admiring the creator’s work.
